On November 23, 2024 Mike Patterson, along with Ed Walters presented a CLE at the Louisiana State Bar Association’s annual New York CLE titled “What Can Go Wrong? Conundrums of the Trial Lawyer”. The presentation included several videos to illustrate the sometimes-difficult circumstances a trial lawyer encounters.

Valerie Briggs Bargas is a graduate of Tulane Law School and practices in many areas of law, including Medical Malpractice Defense and Professional Liability Defense. She is an active member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, Baton Rouge Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), and serves as the current President of the Dean McMahon Inn of Court. During her time as an attorney, she has been involved in many Pro Bono activities as well.

Sallie C. DuPont is a 2010 graduate of Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. She practices Casuality Defense, Business Litigation, Insurance Defense, Bad Faith Litigation, and Administrative law. Sallie is also a current member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
