Jamie Watts recently participated in J.P. Morgan’s Public Finance Transportation & Utility Investor Forum as a presenter on Ratepayer-Backed Securitization in Louisiana conducted in New York on March 30, 2022.  As a member of the Utilities Securitization Panel, along with representatives of the Office of Oklahoma State Treasurer, J.P. Morgan and Government Consultants, Inc., Jamie discussed securitization of utility storm restoration expenses in Louisiana, addressing both historical and pending transactions, including the applicable legal and regulatory framework.  As corporate counsel to the Louisiana Utilities Restoration Corporation, Jamie has guided this non-profit public entity in transactions totaling more than $5.3 billion to date.
