LLF congratulates Attorney Michael W. McKay on being a 50-year member of the Bar.  Mike was recognized by the Baton Rouge Bar Association at its recent Opening of Court, Memorial and New Member Ceremony.

Mike has handled high-stakes disputes for more than forty-five years, representing local, national and international businesses with interests and operations across Louisiana, the southeastern United States and beyond. Mike’s practice has particularly focused on mid-size, privately-held and family-owned companies, helping his clients preserve key relationships and protect their market positions. Mike also serves as a member of the Patterson Resolution Group, a team of highly experienced neutrals who help parties resolve conflicts in mediation and arbitration and is a current member of the American Arbitration Association’s roster of arbitrators.

During his years of practice, Mike has served as a leader of many legal organizations including as a past President of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Baton Rouge Bar Association and the National conference of Bar Presidents.

Mike has also served as a Captain in the Judge Advocate General Department of the US Air Force Reserve.
